The Healing Code Tips

The Healing Code method was created in the 1990s by Dr. Alexander Loyd. With this method, you can clear the harmful, stress-caused images from your subconscious that trigger fear in you and stop you from doing certain things.

To make a meaningful change in your life, you first need to free yourself from these stress images.

You can learn more about how to do the 6-minute Healing Code hand positions in the YouTube video below:

The video is in English, but it demonstrates the hand positions clearly.

Compared to the hand positions shown in the video above, the Subconscious Coding method adds two further positions, which you can find under the "Subconscious Control" section — and in the short video below, Dr. Alexander Loyd himself demonstrates how he recommends this hand position:

(In the video he suggests 20 seconds per position, but that's not a critical detail.)

You can find the video here. (It may only open in Microsoft Edge.)

Over two years of measurements involving 360 people, Dr. Alexander Loyd found that adding this hand position boosts the effectiveness of the traditional positions by at least 50%.

Clicking the link below gives you a 30-second timer for doing the Healing Code positions. You'll hear a beep every 30 seconds, letting you know it's time for the next hand position.

Once you've got some practice with the codes, you won't need the timer anymore. It's fine to hold a given position a little longer too.

So what exactly is the Healing Code method?

Dr. Alexander Loyd put it simply like this: "The Healing Code heals by freeing you from stress." We've already touched on how to get started with this method and what deserves special attention. Now let's look at exactly what steps to take. The Healing Code practice essentially means holding four different hand positions over certain "healing centers" (based on the book "The Healing Code").

The four "healing centers" are:

Bridge of the nose: the area between the bridge of the nose and the eyebrows, as if the two eyebrows had grown together;
Adam's apple: directly above the Adam's apple;
Jaw: the lowest, rearmost corner of the jaw on both sides of the head;
Temple: about half an inch above the temple and half an inch toward the back of the head, on both sides of the head.

According to the book, these healing centers correspond to the following organs:

Bridge of the nose: the pituitary gland (often called the master gland, since it directs the body's most important endocrine processes) and the pineal gland;
Temple: the higher-functioning left and right brain hemispheres, as well as the hypothalamus;
Jaw: the reactive emotional brain, including the amygdala and hippocampus, plus the spinal cord and central nervous system;
Adam's apple: the spinal cord and central nervous system, plus the thyroid gland.

"[The] four healing centers correspond to the control center present in every cell of the body."

Energizing these healing centers is how you get results. Hold your relaxed fingers toward each healing center in the order above, 30 seconds per position. Your fingertips should point at the healing centers like little flashlights, about 2-3 inches from the surface of your body. Do these hand positions for 4 × 30 seconds across 3 rounds — about 6 minutes — twice a day. The energy continuously flowing through your fingers activates the healing centers, which sets off the desired changes throughout your body and your whole being.

Using the codes is refreshingly simple, and that simplicity is one of its greatest strengths. Even so, plenty of questions tend to come up along the way. We'll go through a few of them here. You can also find detailed further explanations in Alexander Loyd's book, "The Healing Code."

What should I say while using the codes?

The usual question is what exactly to say before and during the practice — or whether you need to say anything at all. With your eyes closed, in the alpha state, before starting the hand positions, it helps to say the following sentence and picture it at the same time (you don't need to repeat it word for word — what matters is the content):

"Please let every known and unknown negative image, mistaken belief, harmful memory, and stress-caused block and blockage from the distant past, the recent past, or the present that causes fear, worry, nervousness, or impatience in me be cleared from my subconscious, cleared from my cell memory, and let its effect on my life end. As a result, my being fills with love, energy, and vitality, and calm and contentment spread through me. Please let this clearing happen with at least a hundredfold effectiveness."

Then do the coding with the hand positions in the right order. There's nothing else you need to do — the necessary changes will start happening in your body.

What should I think about while using the codes?

Once you've said the sentence above and start the hand positions, the question comes up of what to focus on while you do them. At this stage, we're not yet sending a specific message to our subconscious — the task isn't to communicate our intentions in the form of images. That will come as a later step. Right now, we simply want to clear the harmful images stored in our subconscious.

Of course, it's worth visualizing the clearing itself. This is also a kind of instruction, though not a conscious one — we simply intend for the clearing itself to happen. The hand positions use the energy flowing from your fingertips to stimulate the healing centers, where the changes then take place. To do this, think of the image or event that worries you or fills you with fear. While picturing that situation, you can say to yourself at each hand position, and visualize, that love is clearing these harmful images from your subconscious. Naming love matters — and it helps to name it more than once — because, in my experience, invoking love is what actually does the clearing. Don't leave the word "love" out of what you say before you start coding, and be sure to picture love literally clearing the harmful patterns from your subconscious during the hand positions too.

Even researchers only have partial information about exactly how this clearing happens, but for the end result, that's secondary. You're on the right track if, after a few sessions, you notice the problem in question matters less to you. That's a sign the clearing — and the "healing" — has begun.

A few tips for your practice.

Whatever you do, don't start by coding away an illness itself. For a healing process to begin, the underlying causes need to be cleared first — so start there. The Healing Code does the clearing, which helps create the conditions for healing, but the healing itself only begins afterward. Once that process has started, you can send a message to your now-cleared subconscious. But don't swap the order of these two steps, even if you want results as soon as possible. In fact, if you genuinely want results, you must not swap the two activities, and you must not be impatient.

The most important thing is to clear the mistaken beliefs first.

Whatever you do, don't try to clear an external, material problem itself. Instead, clear the effect that material problem triggers in you: nervousness, agitation, tension, anger, impatience, a feeling of helplessness, and so on. The point is to release the compulsive, clenched striving and the fear of the worst that the material problem causes in you. What you want to achieve is no longer feeling afraid of the problem because you can't solve it. That feeling of fear is itself the mistaken belief. You have no reason to fear the problem, because that fear is unfounded. It's just your first reaction, triggered instantly by old images stored in your subconscious, which then takes hold and keeps coming back again and again. Once that mistaken belief clears, your fear evaporates, and you'll be able to relate to the problem differently. That's when the conditions are created for you to see the situation more clearly and realistically. You settle down. Once you've settled, the tension and the energy block dissolve, and your internal energy starts flowing again. So rather than making that choking tension worse through effort, strain, and willpower, you release it instead. From there, you're already winning.
